Daniel F. Babiec, DMD, PC
Dr. Daniel Babiec earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1977, and his bachelor’s degree from Boston University. His career path has taken him from general dentistry to the study of orthodontics at Rhode Island Hospital, Samuel Dental Center, and the United States Dental Institute. Dr. Babiec also served as a reservist in the United States Army for 21 years.
The link between sleep disturbed breathing and TMJ is intimate. These conditions are often a result of the failure of a person’s facial structures to develop normally. Understanding this root cause, Dr. Babiec is able to evaluate, educate and treat patients with these conditions concurrently for greatest treatment success. By developing a strong message of education and therapy success, he strives to help as many patients as possible.
Dr. Babiec holds a Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellowship with International College of Oral Implantology, and is a Diplomat of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. He is also a member of the North American Association of Facial Orthotropics.
Dr. Babiec and his wife, Debra, have three active adult children. They enjoy traveling to collegiate rowing races of all three to cheer for their respective teams. Other interests of Dr. Babiec include woodworking and sports photography.
