Krissy Connor, RN, DDS
Dr. Krissy Connors’ interest in Sleep & Breathing Disorders began even before she had completed her training at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Her background as a nurse turned dentist motivated her to seek an area of dentistry where she could use her wide variety of skills and clinical experience to best serve her local community.
Dr. Connor explained: “In my final year of dental school, I met a patient who had been diagnosed with mild Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). That meeting made me aware that I could help patients who suffer from OSA and TMD (temporomandibular joint disorders) because both deal significantly with the proper positioning of the lower jaw.”
“Being a healthcare provider, I have a strong desire to increase public awareness about the life threatening consequences of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. By providing my patients an alternative to CPAP, they are able to live a more comfortable, fulfilling and healthier life.”
Dr. Connor is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Wisconsin Sleep Society and the American Sleep and Breathing Academy.
