David P. Barr, DDS, D.ASBA
Dr. Barr completed his doctorate program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1983. He continued his education at the world renowned LD Pankey Institute. Sleep disorders became a professional interest of his after he was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. Since that time he has taken extensive education and training at the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Metz Center for Obstructive Sleep Apnea and one-on-one training with many of the experts in the field of sleep disorders. Dr. Barr is also a Diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy.
Family is of utmost importance to Dr. Barr. He and his wife Laureen are the proud parents of three wonderful children, Kristen, Kelson and Matthew and grandson Dane. Dr. Barr enjoys all sports, but is most active with kayaking, bike riding, and working on his cottage in northern Wisconsin. Although he admits that he is limited by his lack of talent, he finds great relaxation in playing his guitar and singing in his church choir.
